Bikram yoga

Bikram yoga is an intense style of yoga that is performed in a hot room – a room that is usually 105 degrees Farenheit. By performing yoga in this way, it is believed that the body becomes more flexible and helps reduce the risk of injuries as well as promote heavy sweating, which can help release toxins in the body.

Bikram yoga was founded by Bikram Choudhury and included a series of 26 poses that is generally performed twice and held for a certain period of time. A typical session begins with the standing postures followed by the backbends, forward bends, and twists. By performing these poses in hot conditions, it is believed that they not only work your muscles but your internal organs as well.

There are many benefits associated with Bikram yoga including weight loss and muscle development. In addition, this style of yoga can help reduce stress and increase blood circulation as well as cleansing the body of and releasing toxins that can be stored there. People with chronic diseases such as arthritis and diabetes can also practice this type of yoga.
